- The guitar is built with rosewood/mahogany back and sides and top are made of hand selected Engelmann spruce. Yamaha's A.R.E. treatment, which gives the wood the sound of an instrument that has been played for many years, gives the guitar a warm sound with open resonance while maintaining excellent tonal balance.
- The neck is designed from the ground up with the focus on making the guitar easy to play.
