AKG The WMS 40 mini vocal and instrument systems both have top sound quality and incredibly easy operation (plug and play; switch on and you're on) at a price/performance that is completely unrivalled.

AKG The SR 40 mini receiver has three status LED lights; one for on/off, one for signal reception OK, and finally one for signal strength/peak/overload. The volume control controls the output level at ¼? jack on the back.

The handheld transmitter (hand microphone) is dynamic cardioid, and is equipped with on/off/mute switch. approx. 15 hours battery time with alkaline batteries.

AKG systems are available in different "bands": a frequency range that can have different "width", and thus a larger or smaller number of frequencies within that range.

Some of the systems are available in: 863-865 MHz, or 823-831 MHz, and these two ranges are the ones currently easiest to deal with for touring in the UK. There you can have respectively 4 and 7 frequencies/channels (in total 11 sound sources) working - and these can be used all over DK including Bornholm, and without having to change frequency (setting) from city to city.

The SR 40 Mini receiver provides three status LEDs indicating ON/OFF status, received signal strength (RF OK), and audio clipping (AF CLIP). The VOLUME control sets the level at the ¼" output jack. The supplied switched mode power supply operates on any AC voltage from 110 to 240 VAC and includes EU, UK, and US adapters.

The rugged HT 40 Mini handheld transmitter features an ON/OFF/MUTE switch and a sturdy wire-mesh cap protecting the cardioid dynamic microphone element. Battery life of the transmitter is the same legendary "30 hours off a single AA battery" as for the WMS 40 models, reducing the need to replace batteries and thus saving real money in the long run.

The system includes an SR 40 MINI receiver, an HT 40 MINI handheld transmitter, a universal power supply with US/UK/EU adapter, and one AA size dry battery.
